Upcoming Endorsement Courses for Summer 2023
It’s time to get going with sign-ups for our Summer 2023 endorsement courses. We offer courses in many areas, so if any of them could help your teaching practice, sign up and give them a try! Elementary Math K-8 EDUC 5510 – Rational Numbers and Proportional Reasoning: Information & Registration Instructions. Course begins June 12 and will be held Monday through Thursday from 8 am to 1 pm each day. Course ends on June 23. You are welcome to join this course even if you didn’t take the prior course in this series.
Elementary Math Specialist TBD: Registration & Information
Instructional Coaching Instructional Design & Assessment: Registration and Information. Course is asynchronous via Canvas with one required synchronous meeting via Zoom on Tuesday, May 16th from 4-6 pm. There will be approximately 40 hours of competency-based assignments to be completed independently. Assignments will have due dates throughout the summer.

- Professional Growth and Leadership (Note: Educators needing the 5020 Leadership course should enroll in the new combined ETEP Endorsement course. You will be credited for the courses you have already completed and will not need to retake.)

To learn more about the change specific to the 5000 Core course series, please review this video and FAQ document from UEN. 5020 will not be offered this summer (see Professional Growth and Leadership above). Also, take a look at a couple of handy trackers – one to complete the traditional ETEP approach and one for the new Competency-Based approach.
