EDUC 5412: Adult Learning Theory • SEDC Instructional Coaching Endorsement Course for Spring 2026

What: Adult Learning Theory: EDUC 5412, Section 416 (CRN: 41099). This course is offered by SEDC in partnership with Utah Valley University (UVU) for credit processing and transcription.
When: Course will be held on the second Tuesday of each month, starting on January 13. The course meetings will be held virtually via Zoom from 4:30 – 6:30 pm. The registration is for the 2026 Spring term.
Who: Open to all teachers interested in Instructional Coaching Endorsement (courses can be taken in any order). Course will be facilitated by Katie Jones from USBE. This course is part of the SEDC Instructional Coaching Endorsement Program.
How: Virtual class offered via Zoom and Canvas. The course will be housed in the SEDC Canvas instance, so if this is your first course from SEDC, you will need a new Canvas account/login. Synchronous attendance and participation required. Register online by going to my.uvu.edu and following the “Registration Instructions document” (page 2). First-time participants must complete the online application process at https://uvu-15675.app451.sites.451.io/.
Fees:
- SEDC FEE: $210
- The UVU course registration fee is $45 (one-time $35 admission fee for first-time UVU students)
