This summer, SEDC will offer two Educational Technology courses to teachers in our region. The good news is you can take these classes from your home town with live video conferencing and online coursework! Teachers will earn either USOE or SUU credit with successful completion of their selected course. Classes start online June 24.
The Internet has evolved to facilitate interaction and collaboration. This six-week course helps teachers harness the power of this new Internet—called “Web 2.0” by some—to build Personal Learning Networks and enhance instruction with current communication tools and strategies. Participants gain hands on experience with my.uen, blogs, wikis, bookmarks, social networks and more while learning how to effectively integrate these online tools into their curricula.
