Please join us in Cedar City on June 1, 2012 for a day of learning and networking with administrators from the SEDC region. Jamie Casap, Senior Evangelist from Google Education will provide the keynote presentation “Technology Tools for Education,” as well as conference breakout sessions. Evan Vickers, Utah State House Representative, will also provide an update on the important educational legislative issues facing us in rural Utah.

In addition to these keynote presentations, we will offer a broad choice of topics in two breakout sessions. These topics include: Google Tools and Chromebooks for Administrators, Developing School and Classroom Web Sites: An Introduction to Google Sites, Using Technology to Teach Global Awareness, Educational Uses of iPads for Administrators, Integrating and Effectively Implementing Educational Video and other Electronic Content into the Classroom, An Introduction to Concrete and other Web Tools, Using Social Networking Tools to Promote Your School, and Data Driven Decision Making for Administrators (includes an overview of LEAF, REDS, USOE Data Display, UTIPS Core, FIS, Transportation, Koha and SAMS).
